What we collect, and what we do with it.

Short version: the enquiry form, our inbox, and nothing else. No advertising trackers, no sold lists, no profiling.

Introduction

This policy explains how HappyCraft Event LLP ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information collected through happycraftevent.in and through the enquiries that reach us from it. It applies to visitors to this website and to prospective and current clients.

We are the data controller for that information. By using this website or sending us an enquiry you accept the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please do not submit the form — call or email us instead and we will tell you exactly what we record.

Information we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. There is no account system on this site, no profiling, and no purchase of third-party contact lists.

  • Information you submit: your name, email address, phone number, the type of event you are planning, and the brief you write in the message field.
  • Information from direct contact: anything you include when you call, email, or message us on WhatsApp, including details of the event and other people involved in it.
  • Event delivery information: where an event proceeds, the operational details needed to run it — venue, dates, guest counts, schedules, and the contacts you nominate on your side.
  • Technical information: aggregate page-view counts collected by Vercel Analytics. This does not identify you, sets no cookies, and is not linked to your enquiry.

How we use it

We use your information to do the work you have asked us about, and for nothing unrelated to it.

  • To read your brief, prepare a costed plan, and reply to you.
  • To plan and deliver your event, including coordinating the venue, vendors and crew you approve.
  • To raise quotations and invoices, and to keep the accounting records the law requires us to keep.
  • To respond to questions, complaints, or requests about work we have already delivered.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations in India.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and shows no consent banner because it does not need one for its own storage.

Your light or dark mode preference is kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Third-party embeds may set their own cookies once loaded — see the next section.

Third-party processors

We keep the number of third parties small and name all of them.

  • Web3Forms — delivers the website enquiry form to our inbox. The fields you submit pass through their service before reaching us.
  • Vercel — hosts this website and provides the cookie-less, aggregate analytics described above. Server logs may record IP addresses transiently for security and abuse prevention.
  • Google Maps — powers the embedded map on the contact page. Opening that page contacts Google, which may set cookies and log the request under Google's own terms.
  • Google Fonts — the display typeface is served at build time and delivered from our own domain, so viewing the site does not call Google for fonts.

When we share data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We share it only where the work requires it: with venues, vendors and crew you have approved, and only the details they need to deliver their part. We may also disclose information where we are legally compelled to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Retention

Enquiries that do not become work are kept for up to two years, in case you return to the same conversation, and then deleted.

Records for events we have delivered — contracts, quotations, invoices and correspondence — are kept for as long as Indian tax and contract law requires, currently up to eight years, and then deleted or anonymised.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data lives in our business email and internal production documents, on accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and access is limited to the producers who need it.

No transmission over the internet is completely secure. If a breach ever affects your information in a way that presents a real risk to you, we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay.

Your rights

Write to happycraftevents@gmail.com to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction to anything inaccurate, deletion, or a restriction on how we use it. You can also withdraw consent for future contact at any time.

We will respond within thirty days and confirm in writing when the action is complete. Where an event is in progress or a legal retention period applies, we will explain precisely which records we must keep and remove everything else.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults arranging events and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where children appear in event photography, we treat those images under the photography terms agreed with the client and will withhold them from public material on request.

Changes to this policy

If our processors or practices change, this page changes with them and the date at the top is updated. Where a change materially affects an active enquiry or engagement, we will tell the people concerned by email rather than relying on this page alone.
